Robert B. Collignon

Robert Bernhard Collignon, or "Mr. C," died at his Woodland residence on Aug.
26, 2002, at the age of 72. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 3, 1930, to
the late Alvin H. and Della M. Collignon.

He was a resident of Yolo County for 33 years. He worked for Midland Chevrolet
for 12 years and then at Bee Line Services for 12 years until he retired in 1993.

After retiring, he enjoyed camping and traveling with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara Collignon of Woodland;
children, William Collignon and his wife Barbara of Woodland, Guy Collignon and
his wife Paula of Grass Valley, Jeanette Younger and her husband Donald of
Woodland and Joan Collignon of Folsom.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Brian Collignon, Melissa Collignon,
Jeffrey Collignon, Shawn Collignon, Jon Younger and his wife Rochelle, Karie
Rioux and Robert Younger; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.

Other survivors include his brother, Norm Collignon and his wife Ruth of
Arbuckle; brothers-in-law, Jack Reimer and his wife Judy of Fort Collins, Colo.,
and John Facchin and his wife Karen; and father-in-law, Ray Anderson and his
wife Joyce of Arizona.

Interment will be private at Monument Hill Memorial Park. A memorial service is
scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Hank
Scherer officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran
Church or to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.

McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
