Alan L. Rice

Alan L. Rice died in his Woodland home Thursday, April 1, 2004, at age 45.

Born Aug. 30, 1958, a native of Woodland, he had been a lifelong Yolo County
resident. He attended Woodland schools and Yuba College and was a Woodland
business owner.

Survivors include his children, Robert Rice, Daniel Rice, Leah Postell and
Christopher Rice; father, Jack Rice; mother, Doris Barker; and sister, Linda Rice.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Joseph Rice; and brother, Michael
St. Louis.

The family requests memorials be directed to: Alan Rice Memorial Fund, c/o Bank
of the West, 186 Main St., Woodland, 95695.

Services: A celebration of life is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 9,
at 6 Monterey Circle, Woodland (off West Monte Vista). Interment will be
private. North Sacramento Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
