Kenneth C. Scott

Kenneth Charles Scott died on July 2, 2002, in Auburn as the result of a car
accident. He was 42 years old.

He was born in Yuba City on May 26, 1960.

Since the age of 14, he was involved in the fields of construction and
carpentry. He loved the outdoors and particularly enjoyed his horses. At the
time of his death, he was looking forward to further training his horse, Penny,
in preparation for showing her next year.

He liked to hunt and trail-ride as well.

Survivors include his fiance, Marianne Langton of Greenwood; parents, Louana and
Nick Harden of Guinda and Charles and Lynn Scott of Sacramento; grandmother,
Iona Hackett of Woodland; children, Ellakay Fletchall and her husband Jonathan
of Pittsburg, Kan., Kendra Rathke and her husband Michael of Pittsburg, Kan.,
Charles R.T. Scott of Pittsburg, Kan., Danielle Scott of Rocklin and Brandon
Scott of Rocklin.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Mikayla and Trenton Fletchall and
Gabrielle Rathke, all of Pittsburg, Kan.

He is further survived by siblings Thomas Scott of Boulder Creek, Timothy Scott
of Rumsey, Rick Amick of Penn Valley, Ken Amick of Sacramento, David Amick of
Fair Oaks, Krystyne Croce of Las Vegas, Michelle Scott of Citrus Heights,
Richard Harden of Lemoore and Jeff Harden of Guinda. He is also survived by
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral was to be held this morning at McNary's Chapel in Woodland. Interment
followed at Capay Cemetery in Esparto.
