Llona Louise Compton

Llona Louise Compton, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2004 at Palm
Gardens Assisted Living where she had been a resident for six years. Mrs.
Compton was born on July 8, 1917 in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to California
at the age of eight. She was sister to brothers Horace and Delbert Dixon both
deceased. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl whom she married on Aug.
13, 1936. Although she was a licensed cosmetologist, she devoted her married
life to homemaking and raising three daughters. During the 50's-70's, she and
Earl were very active in local bowling leagues initially at Woodland Bowl and
later at Woodhaven Lanes.

She is survived by daughters Beverly McAnelly, Linda Heffernan and husband Ray,
and Earlene Morales and husband Jim; grandchildren Kelly Duncan and significant
other James Camarillo, Joseph Duncan and wife Gina and children Lindsey, Cory,
and Zachary; Clifford McAnelly and children Genny Low and Clifford; Clayton
McAnelly and children Brandi and Jeremiah; Kevin Roberts and children Eric and
Angel; Kent Roberts and son Jameson.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 2 at McNary's Chapel, 458
College St., Woodland. A graveside service is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Saturday,
April 3 at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
