Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net June 2, 2004, 12:07 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Wednesday, March 31, 2004 Frances Schmauderer Born in Garden City, Kansas to James Francis Mangan and Lavenia Mangan, granddaughter of emigrants from Ireland. Fran was the last Mangan in the family. Fran graduated from Woodland High School in the class of 1952 and was married to Ed Schmauderer and traveled in the Air Force for five years as an air force wife. After moving back to Woodland, she was the owner/manager of the Diamond E Western Store for many years and was always there for the many that needed the special help. Fran was a great co-pilot with hundred of hours in the Co. Aircraft. Fran was the magic in many lives. She was always there when someone needed help. Always there for her friends. Always there for her family, the bonding agent for her family. She will be missed by all who know her. Fran is survived by her husband, Ed Schmauderer; children, Ivan, Dave and Kathy Schmauderer; sisters, Barbara Martinelli, and Shirley Boone and husband Delane; and stepfather, Leroy Joseph. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavenia; father, James Mangan; and brother, Bill Mangan. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland. Services: A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., with a burial to follow at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
