Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net June 2, 2004, 12:16 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Tuesday, March 30, 2004 LeRoy Aloysius Wahl LeRoy Aloysius Wahl, 76, died on Sunday, March 28, 2004, at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. A resident of Yolo county for 61 years, Mr. Wahl was born on Aug. 30, 1927, in Selby, S.D. He owned and operated Wahl Trucking for more than 50 years and raised Percheron draft horses as well. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his first and second wives, Beva Wahl and Armida Wahl; daughters, Cynthia Brock and her husband Dan of Esparto, and Brenda Siemering and her husband Bill of Portland, Ore. Other survivors include his sister, Janice Toms and her husband Darrell of Sacramento; step-daughters, Danell Alarcon, Gay Duncan and Kimberly Patterson; brother, Llewellyn Wahl of Sacramento and sister-in-law, Julie Wahl of Woodland. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and brother, LaRue Wahl, preceded him in death. The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland. Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2004, at Monument Hill Memorial Park. There will be no visitation prior to the services.
