Barbara Jean Van Zee

Barbara Jean Van Zee died in Emmanuel Care Center, Yuba City Thursday, March 25,
2004, at age 69.

Born Jan. 20, 1935, and a native of Woodland, Mrs. Van Zee had been a
Yuba-Sutter area resident for 38 years. She worked for Marysville plumbing as
retail clerk for three years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Marysville.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Edmonson of Oakley; sons, Jerry and Stanley
Van Zee, both of Woodland; sister, Beverly Hart of Modesto; six grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society, 618 5th
St., Marysville, 95901. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp & Sullivan
of Marysville.

Services: A chapel service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Lipp
and Sullivan Chapel, Marysville, with Rev. Robert Copsey of St. Joseph's Church
of Marysville officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Woodland.
