Mildred Lee Grady

Mildred Lee Grady died May 21, 2002, at Sutter Davis Hospital of heart failure.
Born March 10, 1929, in Burlington, N.J., she was 73.

She lived in Davis for seven years. She spent most of her life in Brooklyn,
N.Y., where she worked as a housekeeping supervisor for several prominent New
York families.

She is survived by her mother, Leona Mosley; sister, Leona White; five nephews
and one niece, all of Brooklyn. She is also survived by her sons, Donald Gray of
Brooklyn and Hasan Abdul Malik of Vacaville; daughter-in-law, Naiylah
Abdul-Malik; grandchildren, Yusef, Abdur, Safwan, Umar, Hawa, Kavima, Husain,
Jalilah, Laila and great-grandchildren, Jamal Savah and Daa'iyah, all of
Northern California.

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Pole Line Road Baptist Church.
The Rev. Scott Thurman will preside. Interment will be at the Davis Cemetery
following the ceremony.
