Russell F. Fiddyment, Jr.

Russell F. Fiddyment Jr. died in Woodland Memorial Hospital Wednesday, March 17,
2004, at age 83.

Born Jan. 25, 1921, in Roseville, Mr. Fiddyment had been a Yolo County resident
for 45 years. He attended Roseville City schools, San Rafael Military Academy,
UC Davis, and a graduate of UC Berkeley in 1946. He was a member of Rotary
International, Yolo Fliers Club, Woodland Elks, UC Davis Chancellors Club, and
UC Alumni Association.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jean (Huff) Fiddyment of Woodland;
children, Russell F. Fiddyment III and Martha Fiddyment of Carson City, Nev.,
and Leslie Murphy and husband Marty of Belvidere, N.J.; stepchildren, Connie
Peel of Sacramento, Stan Brown of Woodland, and Rick Brown and wife Betty of
Homewood; brothers, David and John Fiddyment; sister, Coralie Corin; 11
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Russell and Cora S. Fiddyment; grandson, Jed Fiddyment; and
daughter-in-law, Christie Brown.

The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Fiddyment no services are scheduled.
There will be a party at his request at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Yolo
Fliers Club, Woodland.
