Fisk Tom Walter Fisk of Woodland died following complications from a stroke on May 7, 2002, in Woodland. He was 80. He was born on June 26, 1921, in Rapid City, S.D., to the late Albert R. and Elna Fisk. He was a resident of Woodland for 40 years. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He worked for Romey's Liquor Store and L&K Liquor Store and also at the Woodland Elks Lodge and Yolo Fliers Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Fisk, in August 1993. He is survived by his sons, Martin Fisk of Elk Grove and Grant, Kenneth and Brian Fisk, all of Woodland. He is also survived by two daughters, Karen Sorenson of Woodland and Elna Fisk of West Sacramento. Among his other survivors are many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Furthermore, he is survived by his sister Jean Noonan of Walnut Grove, as well and numerous nieces and nephews. In respect of his wishes, no services will take place.
