Margarito C. Aguilera

Margarito Cardenas Aguilera died April 24, 2002, at Woodland Memorial Hospital.
He was 79 years old.

He was born in Mexico on Aug. 14, 1922, to the late Marcelino and Maria
(Cardenas) Aguilera. He was a resident of Yolo County for the past four years,
and was employed by Contadina for 30 years, last working as an equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Aguilera of Woodland; daughter, Josefina
Mendez and her husband Francisco of Dixon; three sons, Joe Aguilera and his wife
Pam of Dixon, Fidel Aguilera and his wife Maria, and Ramon Aguilera, all of
Woodland; and grandchildren, Frank, Sylvia and Robert Mendez, Brandon, Ashley,
Andria and Christian Aguilera, all of Dixon, Esteban, Nicole and Brianna
Aguilera, and Patrice and Louis Aguilera, all of Woodland.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Matilde Aguilera, and his daughter,
Sylvia Gonzalez.

The vigil will be today at 7 p.m. at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St. in
Woodland. The funeral Mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 503
California St., with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
