Della Doris Blank

Della Doris Blank died in Woodland Memorial Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004,
at age 82.

Born Oct. 21, 1921, in Hamden, N.Y., Mrs. Blank had been a Yolo County resident
for 35 years. She was a registered nurse holding supervisory positions in the
Emergency Room and Pediatrics Departments in New Brunswick, N.J. and nursing
supervisor at Woodland Memorial Hospital. She was also a staff nurse in the
recovery, Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care Unit areas in New Jersey. Mrs.
Blank was a staff nurse at Delaware County Hospital in Walton, N.Y. as well.

Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Anna Ogden of Walton, N.Y.; brother, Tony
Decker and wife Ginnie of Marion, Va.; daughters, Betsy Madison and husband Bob
of Redding and Nancy Neiss of Alvarado, Texas; sons, John Neiss and wife Sue of
Woodland, Mike Blank and wife Marla of Santa Margarita and Chris Blank and wife
Carol of Bayside; and grandchildren, Brett and Ryan Rademaker, Jim Neiss, Adam
and Tim Madison, Katie Rose Blank, and Brianna and Ben Blank. She was preceded
in death by her husband Robert Blank; son, Patrick Blank; and brother, John P.
Decker.

The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger of
Sacramento.

Services: A celebration of her life is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday,
March 20, at 201 Hacienda Lane, Woodland. Visitation will be on Friday, May 21,
at Lyons Funeral Home, Walton, N.Y. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22,
at Walton Cemetery of Walton, N.Y.
