Born Jan. 3, 1934, in Hailey, Idaho, Mr. Moger had been a Yolo County resident for 13 years. He worked as a deputy legislative counsel III for the state Legislative Counsel Bureau. Prior to that he was in private law practice from 1972 to 1975; an assistant chemical testing engineer for the separtment (sic) of General Services from 1969 to 1972; and a senior engineer for Aerojet-General Corporation from 1963 to 1969. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War. He was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church; Masonic Lodge, Woodland Lodge No. 81, F&AM; Sacramento Masonic Lodge No. 40, F&AM; Scottish Rite Bodies, Sacramento; Ben Ali Shrine, Sacramento; Ben Ali Bedouins RV Club; and Yolo Shrine Club; member of the State Bar of California; Sacramento Traditional Jazz Jubilee and National Rifle Association. He was Senior Warden at Woodland Lodge No. 81, F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Lillian E. Moger of Woodland; stepfather, Charles Moger and wife Ruby of Oroville; children, Roxanne Moger-Kennedy, Cheryl Grubaugh, both of Sacramento, Susan Yomogida of Roseville, and Kenneth Moger of Auburn; stepchildren, Johnnie Yother of Dalton, Ga., and Terri Welch of Chatsworth, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Robert Moger of Placerville. He was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Moger; mother, Gertrude (Hirsch) Moger and brother, Bill Moger. The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, 95817. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland. Services: Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 10, at McNary's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11 at 1 p.m., at Woodland United Methodist Church, 212 Second St., Woodland. Burial will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
