Artemio Asuncion

Artemio Asuncion of Woodland died on March 31, 2002, at Woodland Memorial
Hospital. He was 65.

He was born on March 8, 1937, in the Philippines. He came to the United States
in 1962 and lived in the Davis and Woodland areas for the past 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marcos and Incarnation Asuncion.

He is survived by his wife Angelita Asuncion of Woodland; son Merlin Asuncion
and his wife Leonida of Bay Point; son Ross Asuncion of San Jose; son Marc
Asuncion and his wife Denise of Davis; his daughter Rachelle Asuncion of
Woodland; son Art Asuncion Jr. of Woodland; and son Don Asuncion of Davis.

He is also survived by brother Tefeleo Asuncion and sister Lily Soait of San
Francisco; and seven grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D
St., Davis. The funeral Mass will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at St. James Catholic
Church, 200 W. 14th St., Davis. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery, 820
Pole Line Road.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
