Doris Patricia Laskier

Doris Patricia Laskier of Davis died on March 20, 2002, in Sacramento. She was 83.

Born Doris Patricia Moore on March 3, 1919, in Birkenhead, England, she
immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area with her late husband, Herbert Joseph
"Jim" Laskier, and two children in 1958.

A lover of nature, walking, books, conversation and travel, she had lived in
Davis since 1997, where she enjoyed the activities of the Davis Senior Center.

She is survived by her son, Pete Laskier and his wife Barbara Call of Ross and
Truckee; daughter, Adrienne Laskier and her husband Will Corral of Davis;
stepdaughter, Vivienne Exelrod of San Francisco; and granddaughter, Lolinda
Williams of Santa Rosa.

She is survived in England by her beloved brother and sister, Albert Moore and
Elsie Peacock, and numerous nieces and nephews there and in Canada.

Her ashes will be scattered in California, but her family says "her love and
spirit will be with us always."
