Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 13, 2004, 7:01 pm “Winters Express,” Thursday, September 28, 2000 Carmen Sidoma Morales Carmen Sidoma Morales passed away September 21, 2000, in Sacramento, at the age of 96. She was born in September 10, 1904 in Porterville, Arizona where she was born into an Indian tribe. A long time resident of Winters, Carmen was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and very involved with the senior citizen community. She enjoyed spending her time helping the less fortunate with food and clothing and working in her garden. In her early years, Carmen worked at a Mariani’s Camp feeding Bracero workers. She also played a small role in the Mexican film, “El Contrabando Del Paso,” along side legendary Mexican actors Gerardo Reyes and Valentina Leyva. Carmen is survived by her living children, Socorro Morales of Sacramento, Juan and Amelia Morales of El Paso, Texas, and Roberto Morales of Winters; more than 90 children, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will be joining her deceased children, Fidencio, Frank (Pancho), Pedro, Gabriel, Eulalio, Jesus and twins Sarita and Roberto.
