Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 14, 2004, 11:34 pm “Winters Express,” Thursday, December 28, 2000 Lloyd Franklin Hicks Lloyd Franklin Hicks passed away at his home in Winters on Dec. 24, 2000. He was born in Hadden, Kansas, on Dec. 8, 1913. He moved to Winters in 1952. He was a carpenter who loved to build houses and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local 180. He worked for E. B. Standish for 30 years. After his retirement in 1976, he worked for Tortosa’s Century 21. Mr. Hicks is survived by and will be missed by his wife, Rose Anna Hicks, his children Margie Topacio of San Diego, David Hicks of Oroville, Robert Hicks of Oroville, Wayne Hicks of Winters, Steve Hicks of Winters and Kathy Brite of Stoneyford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tony, Robert, Elaine and James Topacio, Bobby Hicks, Johnny and Sylvia Macias, Leanne and James Hicks, Corianne, David Jr. and James Tunstall, Crystall Bruhn and Rashell Payne and 12 great-grandchildren.
