Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 14, 2004, 11:48 pm “Winters Express,” Thursday, June 28, 1990 Alene Wann Alene Wann funeral services Friday at Freewill Baptist Funeral services will be held for Alene Wann on Friday, June 29, at the Freewill Baptist Church, 18 Haven Street, Winters, beginning at 10 a.m. Viewing will commence at the church one hour before the service time. Mrs. Wann died on June 25 at Sutter Davis Hospital. She was born in Arkansas on April 27, 1921 and was 69 years of age. She and her husband, Warren, had been married for 44 years. She had been a homemaker all of her adult life. The couple formerly lived in Wister, Oklahoma, and moved to Winters in 1956. Survivors include her husband, Warren Wann of Winters; five children: Kathleen Lawrence of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jim Hamner of Williams, Philip Hamner of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Joyce Lowrie of Winters and Linda Hennagin of Dixon; a brother, H.L. Johnson of Poplar, California; and a sister, Margie McKinney of Heavner, Oklahoma. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
