Wenda (Wanda) Chapman Klaich 

Wanda Chapman Klaich dies in Napa

Wenda (sic) Chapman Klaich died Sunday, May 18, at her home in the Napa Valley.
 She would have been 48 years old on June 8.  

She is survived by her husband, Michael Klaich of Yountville, father Ralph
Chapman of Winters, and mother Wenonah Glashoff of Fairfield.  She is also
survived by three brothers, Ralph Duren Chapman of Fairfield, Bradley Chapman,
stationed in England with the US Air Force, and Bruce Chapman of Davis; two
sons, Michael Sims of Brush Prairie, Washington, and Robert Sims of Moraga,
California; two daughters Susan Bowling of Napa and Barbara Hawley of
Sacramento; and four grandchildren, Dustin Sims, Genna Bowling, and Brian and
Lauren Hawley.

Other survivors include a niece, Shawna Chapman; Stepmother Esther Chapman;
stepbrother Robert Belmont; stepsister JoAnn Ingles; and stepson Mitch Klaich of
Ashland, Oregon.

Wenda lived most of her life in the Fairfield and Napa Valley areas.  She was
employed by Chevron Chemical for some years, having retired three years ago.  

Private memorial services will be held in the Napa Valley upon arrival of son
Michael, who is aboard ship in the Aleutians.
