Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 19, 2004, 12:16 am “Winters Express,” Saturday, November 15, 1890 Henrietta W. Pendegast A Sad Death Mrs. Henrietta W. Pendegast, widow of the late W.W. Pendegast, died in Woodland last Saturday evening, and was buried on Sunday afternoon. In speaking of her death, the Mail says: Mrs. Pendegast was a type of the noblest womanhood, and, by her many beautiful traits of character, won the friendship of a multitude of the best people in the State, who will be deeply grieved on learning of her death. The grief stricken and Motherless children have the heartfelt sympathies of the entire community during the hours of their bereavement. The deceased leaves two daughters and a son to mourn her demise, besides many other relatives.
