Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 22, 2004, 11:03 pm “Winters Express,” Thursday, February 19, 1987 Joseph “Joe” Domenick Biasi Services for Joe Biasi held Tuesday Private family graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, February 17 at Winters Cemetery for Joseph Domenick Biasi, 61. He died February 13, 1987 at Yolo General Hospital after a long illness. Biasi, who had lived continuously in Winters since 1978, was born June 1, 1925 in Guinda in Yolo County. He operated a trucking firm for 14 years. Biasi served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Biasi of Winters; mother Mrs. Antonita Biasi, also of Winters; and two daughters, Patricia Biasi of Winters and Katherine Hobbs of Winemucca, Nevada. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Biasi, Jr., who died in 1980. Also surviving are four brothers: Vito Biasi of Sacramento; Pat Biasi of Concord; and Bill and Sam Biasi, both of Winters. Three sisters are surviving: Margaret Toombs of Blythe; Katherine Carrion of Winters; and Angie Murphy of Puyallup, Washington. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
