David Garces

David Garces, 58 found dead Oct. 31

David Garces, 58, a foreman at the Mariani ranch at Roads 89 and 29A, was found
dead in his bed October 31, about 5 p.m.

Fellow workers called the Winters ambulance that day saying that he hadn’t been
to work for two days and looking in the window, had seen him in bed but he
wasn’t moving.

The ambulance crew of the Winters Fire Department arrived at the scene and, upon
finding him dead, called the Yolo County Coroner.  According to the coroner,
Garces died as the result of a stroke.
