Services held for Jose G. Michel

A graveside service was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Woodland yesterday
(Dec. 6) for Jose Guadalupe Michel, who died Sunday, Dec. 3, in a hospital in
Woodland.  A native of Mexico, he was 61.

A rosary was recited at McNary’s Chapel in Woodland on the evening of Dec. 5.

Mr. Michel is survived by sons, George Michel, Jess Michel and Joemanuel Michel,
all of Woodland, and Arthur Michel of Los Angeles; one daughter, Rosemary
Calderon of Sacramento; brothers, Joaquin Michel and Miguel Michel, both of
Winters, and Lino Michel and Antonio Michele, both of Mexico; three sisters,
Nate Garcia of Winters, and Rachel Michel and Perta Michel, both of Mexico; and
11 grandchildren.
