Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 30, 2004, 11:07 pm Thursday, March 4, 1991 Raymond Lopez Invernon, Sr. Services to be held Friday for Raymond Lopez Invernon Sr. Graveside services will be held in the Winters Cemetery in Winters at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 8, for Raymond Lopez Invernon Sr. who died March 1, at the Community Hospital Extended Care Facility in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was 86. Mr. Invernon was born Aug. 5, 1904, in Zurgena, Almeria, Spain to Francisco and Issabelle Lopez. He attended schools in Spain after which he worked with his godfather in a general merchandise store. At 19 he moved to Cuba where he worked for about a year before moving to Winters. On Jan. 24, 1942 Ray married Delfinia R. Ramirez in Reno, Nevada. He worked as a carpenter in the Winters area until 1967 when he went to work for the Winters High School for eight years, retiring in 1975. In 1986 the couple moved to Naples, Idaho, to be near their son. He is survived by his wife, Delfinia Invernon of Naples, Idaho; two sons, Raymond Invernon of Naples, Idaho and Louis Invernon of Sacramento; two daughters, Armida Joyner of Sedley, Virginia, and Pilar Garrett of Arlington, Virginia; one brother, Frank Lopez of Greenock, Scotland; seven grandchildren.
