Archie Constant 

Services held Wednesday for Rev. Archie Constant

Funeral services were held at McNary’s Chapel, Wednesday for the Rev. Archie
Constant who died in Woodland, March 1.  Burial followed in the Winters
Cemetery.  A native of Melbourne, Arkansas, he was 93.

Rev. Constant was a resident of Yolo County for 50 years.  He was an ordained
minister and a carpenter all his adult life.  He was a member of the Carpenters
Union 180 in Vallejo and 560 in Sacramento.  He was a member of the National
Rife Association.

Rev. Constant is survived by five sons:  Talmage Constant, Winters; Louis
Constant, Woodland; Charley Constant, Lebanon, Oregon; Earl Constant,
Cottonwood; and Leamon Constant, Woodland.  He is also survived by two
daughters, Retha Rooker, Fairfield, and Daphine Pangburn, Cottonwood; 23
grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
