Marvin L. Maier

Marvin L. Maier died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at Woodland Memorial Hospital. Born
July 5, 1925, in Scotts Bluffs, Neb., he was 78 years old.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a resident of
Yolo County for the past 60 years. He made agriculture his livelihood, working
as a farmer.

He is survived by his daughters, Darla Tafoya and Brenda Pate of Woodland; Hedy
Collins of Illinois; and Danya Galloway of Citrus Springs, Fla.; granddaughters,
Carolyn, Annette and Diana Collins; grandsons, Randy Tafoya, Sean Galloway and
Ben Pate; and a great-grandson, Daniel Galloway.

Private family services are planned at a later date. Arrangements are under the
direction of Evergreen Funeral Services of Woodland.
