Matthew John Hartley

Matthew John Hartley passed away at his residence on April 27, 2000 after an
extended illness.  Born in Troy Ohio on July 16, 1967 he was 32 years old.

Mr. Hartley grew up in Tipp City, Ohio and Clearwater, Florida.  He moved to the
Bay Area in 1988 and has been a resident of Winters for the past five years.

In the Bay Area, he did volunteer work with AIDS education.  In Winters over the
last two years, Mr. Hartley worked at Classic Video.

Mr. Hartley is survived by his mother, Ruth H. Hartley, of Winters; brothers,
Steven Harley (sic) of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Michael Harley (sic) of
Clearwater, Florida; sisters, Rachel Jacobs of Pinella Park, Florida, Rebecca
Fleck of Clearwater, Florida and Jennifer Trottier of Denver; companion, Paul
Kastner of Winters; 17 nieces and nephews, paternal grandmother, Nellie A.
Hartley of Tipp City, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Hartley in 1975.

Friends are welcome to attend a memorial celebration of life on Saturday, May 6,
at Mr. Hartley’s residence.
