Jeffrey Lynn Azuar

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 18 at Corbus Field in Vallejo for
police officer Jeffrey Lynn Azuar.  Mr. Azuar died on Wednesday, April 12, 2000
at Solano County Hospital.  He was 50 years old.

Born Dec. 14, 1949, he lived in Vallejo his entire life.  He was a police
officer with the Vallejo Police Department for 21 years.  He was a veteran of
the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army.

Mr. Azuar is survived by his daughter, Amanda K. Azuar-Geller; father, Joseph C.
and granddaughter, Ashlee Geller, all of Vallejo.  He was preceded in death by
his mother, Connie, in 1998 and his brother, Dennis, in 1987.  Azuar was the
grandson of Maria and Gregory Machado.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to
Ashlee Geller Scholarship Fund, care of Vallejo Police Officers Association, 301
Wallace Street, Vallejo, 94591, or the K-9 Fund, care of Vallejo Police
Department, 111 Amador Street, Vallejo, 94590.
