Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net October 13, 2004, 11:31 pm “Winters Express,” Thursday, April 6, 2000 Victoriano Cerros Victoriano Cerros passed away on March 30, 2000 at Woodland Memorial Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 85 years. He was born in El Salitre, Jalisco, Mexico, on September 7, 1914. Mr. Cerros was a resident of Woodland for the last two years and formerly a 50-year resident of Winters, where he was an employee of the Jimenez-Martin Ranch for over 45 years. He is survived by a daughter, Aurora Sanchez, of Woodland, and Joe and Alfredo Preciado (who Victoriano raised like his own children) of Winters; God-daughter, Carmen Guzman, of Dixon; two brothers and one sister of Mexico and a sister, Maria Villa, of Woodland; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews in Winters, Woodland and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria, in January 2000. A Vigil was held at 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. A Mass will be held on Thursday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Winters. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, in Woodland.
