“Winters Express,” Thursday, May 13, 1999
Clarence Campos

Clarence Campos passed away on Friday, May 7, 1999, at his home in Winters.  He
was born on March 24, 1909, in Marchal DeLubrin, Spain, he was 90.

Club memberships include:  Club Iberico De Espa”na (sic) and the California
Farmer (Life Member).  His life work was farming, the latter years in walnuts
and almonds.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Art Humphrey, of
Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Darlene Campos of Winters;
brother, Eleuterio Campos of Marchal De Lubrin, Spain; three sisters, Pearl
McCullough of Ramona, Irene Ramos of Davis, and Juanita Martinez and her
husband, Joe Martinez, of Winters; grandchildren, Archie and wife, Nina Humphrey
of Vacaville; Larry and wife, Donna Campos of Winters; great-grandchildren,
Arthur Humphrey of Vacaville, Ingrid Jimenez of Sacramento, Andres Jimenez of
Puerto Rico, and Courtney Campos, Jennifer Campos and Lacy Campos, all of Winters.

Mr. Campos was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Campos, and his sister,
Jeanette (Jackie) Hayes.

A visitation, was held on Monday, May 10, at Smith’s Colonial Chapel.  The
funeral took place on Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Smith’s Colonial Chapel. 
Burial followed at the Winters Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Clyde Moore, Johnny Chico, Jerry Carbajal, John Eldridge,
Frank Carrion and Johnny Martinez.
