“Winters Express,” Thursday, June 17, 1999
Margree M. Thomas

Mrs. Margree Thomas, a 43 year resident of Winters, passed away on May 31, 1999,
at Sutter Davis Hospital in Davis.  Born on September 22, 1922 in Paragould,
Arkansas, she was 76 years old.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of the New Life Family Church in Winters.  Family
members said her life revolved around her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children, James Thomas and wife Esther of
Winters, Barbara Swink and Husband Randall of Corning, Robin Thomas and wife
Barbara of Phoenix, Arizona, Wayne Thomas of Winters, Donna Stam of Texas,
Debbie Howard and husband Dean of Hanford, Dorothy Rutler of Winters, and Tom
Nelson and wife Donna of Roseville; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren;
sister Chalmus Ray of Michigan and brother Raymond Gibson of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Thomas in 1984.

Visitation was held on June 3, at Smith’s Colonial Chapel.  A graveside funeral
service was held on Friday, June 4, at 11 a.m.  Arrangements were under the
direction of Smith’s Colonel Chapel in Winters.
