Harold Kloss

Harold Kloss, a 25-year resident of Yolo County, died April 25, 2004, in
Woodland. He was 90 years old.

Born June 5, 1913, in Tulare, S.D., he obtained his master's degree in education
from University of South Dakota. He was an educator and superintendent of
schools for 35 years. In retirement, he traveled extensively with his wife Helen
and was a volunteer with Woodland Health Care Auxiliary.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kloss, in 1994.

He is survived by his daughter, Patrice White, her husband Bruce and their sons,
Adam and Aaron of Davis; daughter, Reba Ranazzi, her husband John and their son
Alex of Roseville; daughter, Luzanne Martin, her husband John and their son
Samuel of Woodland; daughter, Karen Hopkins, her husband Layne and their
daughter Ranae Lacey of Minnesota; daughter, Faye Miller, her husband Don and
their daughters Julie Tow and Sharie Barr of Minnesota; and four great-grandsons.

A private memorial service will be held Wednesday with a funeral Monday in South
Dakota.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, CA
95617-1014.
