Jack H. Amann

Jack H. Amann died on April 10, 2004, in his residence in Diamond Springs. He
was 93 years old.

Born July 6, 1910, in Spokane, Wash., he was an electrical engineer for 36
years. He was manager for the Western states for Square D Company, working in
the Sacramento and Davis area. He had bachelor's and master's degrees in
electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology.

He enjoyed golfing throughout his lifetime. He had served as president of the
California Golf Club and helped establish a senior program at the Cameron Park
Country Club. He also had the honor of shooting nine holes-in-one.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Joy.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacque Bartholomew, and her husband Wayne of Davis.

Private family services were held at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855
Cold Springs Road in Placerville.
