Renee Danielle Torguson

Renee Danielle Torguson died of melanoma Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at age 33.

Born Aug. 22, 1968, in Woodland, Mrs. Torguson attended Davis High School and
received a bachelor of science and certificate of graphic arts from San Jose
State in 1991. She was most recently living in Pembroke Pines, Fla. with her
husband and stepson. She was the graphic designer for the Florida Marlins
Baseball Club since 1998. According to her family members, “she was an
accomplished artist, avid reader, and experienced traveler. Her trips included
Ireland, Germany, and in 1999 she and her husband traveled to China.”

Mrs. Torguson is survived by her husband, Adolfo Salgueiro; and stepson, Adolfo
Salgueiro III of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; mother, Susan Torguson and stepfather,
Glen Holstein of Davis; father, Bruce Torguson of Mesquite, Nev.; sister, Shelby
Torguson of Portland, Ore.; stepbrother, Dylan Holstein-Radin of Tucson,
Arizona; and numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.

A memorial service is scheduled at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Davis
Community Church. A private interment for family will be held at the Davis
Cemetery prior to the service.

The family requests memorials be directed to Lance Armstrong Foundation, P.O.

Davis Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
