Sebastiana A. Tapaoan

Sebastiana A. Tapaoan died in Cottonwood Healthcare Center, Woodland Wednesday,
Jan. 23, 2002, at age 95.

Born Jan. 27, 1906, in the Philippines, to the late Antero and Roberta
Aguinaldo, Mrs. Tapaoan came to the United States in 1973 to live with her
daughter in Woodland. She was a homemaker all of her adult life. 

Mrs. Tapaoan is survived by her children, Macario Tapaoan and wife Luz of
Hawaii, Venancia Aguinaldo and Maria Tapaoan, both of of (sic) Woodland. 

She is also survived by her niece who was raised by Mrs. Tapaoan, Aida Aguistin
and husband Angel of Hawaii; grandchildren, Gloria Tupinic, Emmie Watanabe, Lyn
Albano, Fe Nakamura, Nellie Rivera, Marlo Tapaoan, Roldan Aguistin and Graham
Aguistin, all  of Hawaii, Jerry Aguinaldo of Woodland, Joseph Diaz of Mission
Viejo and Mary Jane Tapaoan of Woodland; 15 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; sisters,  Rufina Del Rosario and Isabel Menor, both of
the Philippines; and numerous nieces and  nephews in the Philippines, Hawaii and
California.

Mrs. Tapaoan was preceded in death by her husband, Florencio Tapaoan; five
sisters and two brothers.

A vigil service is scheduled at 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3, at McNary's Chapel, 458
College St., Woodland.

A funeral mass is scheduled to be said at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 4, at the Holy
Rosary Catholic Church, with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
