Marion Jackson "Jack" Sallee

Marion Jackson "Jack" Sallee passed away peacefully at his Marshfield, Missouri
home on March 19, 2004.  Born on April 13, 1935 in Marshfield, to William “Bill
Jack” and Jessie Jewel (Richardson) Sallee, he was 68 years old.

He was united in marriage to Virginia “Gin” Roberts on Dec. 2, 1961 and to this
union one daughter was born.

Mr. Sallee was a resident of Winters for over 30 years and a plumber by trade. 
He retired from Civil Service at Travis Air Force Base and ran his own plumbing
business for many years.  In 1999 he and his wife moved to Marshfield to be near
their daughter and her family.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; daughter Patricia Lynn Raines and her
husband Carson; six grandchildren Andrew Philip Burdick, Aaron Christopher
Burdick, Scott Patrick Burdick, Brandon Alexander Raines, Paul Travis Sallee
Burdick and Jennifer Lynn Raines, all of Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, March 24, in Mount Sinai Cemetery,
with Reverend Jack Day officiating.  Visitation was held on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to
the ALS Foundation for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
