Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net June 10, 2004, 2:07 pm "The Davis Enterprise," Tuesday, June 8, 2004 Suzanne F. Tauzer Suzanne Faye Tauzer died at the Tauzer family home in Woodland on May 30, 2004, after an extended battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was 80. She was born Suzanne Faye Herbert on March 4, 1924, in Long Beach, and raised in Rialto in San Bernardino County. After a very brief marriage during World War II that produced no children, she married William M. Fowler, father of Suzanne's only two children. She moved to Sacramento in 1956 and raised her family there until 1972. When her marriage to Bill Fowler ended, she relocated to Davis where she met rancher William Tauzer. They were married in 1973 and remained steadfast companions for more than 30 years. She was a student of the arts, painting and sculpting for most of her adult life. She greatly enjoyed music and singing and was an accomplished seamstress and tailor. But she equally embraced business. Her husband Bill Tauzer taught her the joys of stock market investments and she took that up with a passion as well. With her dry sense of humor and a great sense of style, she epitomized joie de vivre and forever will be in the hearts and memories of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, William J. Tauzer, who died in January. She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Fowler Brewer of Fair Oaks and Linda Fowler Gilson of El Dorado Hills, and two grandchildren, Elisa Brewer and Darren Brewer. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday in El Dorado Hills. Guests are asked to call (916) 616-6355 for information on attending. In lieu of flowers or donations, any remembrances may be sent to Yolo Hospice. Additional Comments: Submitted with the permission of the "The Davis Enterprise." (315 G Street, Davis, CA 95616).
