Peggy Sanders

Peggy Sanders passed away on May 21, 2004, in Sacramento. She was born Sept. 5,
1920, in New York.  She was the loving mother of Polly Sanders and George
Sanders, Jr. (deceased) and surviving wife of George Sanders, Sr.

The Sanders family moved to Southern California in 1959 and Peggy and George
retired to Winters.  For 25 years, her Winters home was the hub of many
gatherings, from book clubs to neighborhood groups.  Peggy loved to cook, read
and have intellectual discussions on almost any topic.  She was a beloved friend
of many and will be missed.
