Aguilera passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, while at Sutter Davis Hospital. She was 75 years old. Jeanette (sic) was born on March 11, 1928 to Lawrence and Nora McCall in Brevard, North Carolina. She was one of two children born to them. After graduating from Brevard High School, she came to California and began working for Hunt Wesson food Company in Davis where she met her husband Tony James Aguilera. The two were married on April 20, 1963 and raised four children. She later went to work for U.C. Davis in the Dean’s Office for approximately five years before leaving to work as a legal secretary for the firm of Robert M. Cole, Attorney at Law for the next 40 years. She enjoyed travel; especially cruises to destinations such as Spain, Panama, Rio de Janeiro and Mexico. she also loved sports especially baseball, football and horseracing. She was an avid fan of the Oakland A’s and the San Francisco 49ers. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Mrs. Aguilera is survived by her children Lorry L. Keener, of Winters, David J. Aguilera and wife, Diane, of Davis, Rosalynne L. Tomson and husband, Mark, of Fairfield and Chelle Aguilera, of Winters. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joshua and Christina Aguilera and by her sister Barbara Faye Jones of Brevard, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony in March, 2000 and her son, Dennis F. Keener. A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road, in Davis. Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
