Neil Christopher Roberts

ABH-1 (Seal) Neil Christopher Roberts, USN, died Monday, March 4, 2002, while in
the service of his country in Afghanistan. He was a native of Woodland, and had
lived in Virginia Beach for 10 years. He graduated from the Woodland High School
Class of 1987 and then joined the service.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Roberts; a son, Nathan X. Roberts; his
mother, Jan MacKay Roberts of Woodland; five sisters, Shannon Dahler, Blair
McAnnely, Erin Benedict, Lisa Roberts, and Christine Gerner, all of Woodland;
six brothers, Galen Roberts, Devin Roberts, Sean Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Frank
Roberts, all of Woodland and Mike Roberts of Fairbanks, Alaska; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Chris Roberts.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, March 11, at the Little
Creek Amphibious Base Chapel, with Chaplain Lt. M.H. Underwood CHC officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Neil Christopher Roberts Memorial Fund c/o
Navy Federal Credit Union, Building 200, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Va. 23461.
