Rose Cecilia Shaffer

Rose Cecilia Shaffer died peacefully in San Rafael on Thursday, March 14, 2002,
at age 94.

Born Oct. 28, 1907 in St. Louis, Mrs. Shaffer lived in Woodland from the
mid-1950s to the early 1970s.

Mrs. Shaffer dedicated her life to her family.

Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her children Sister Patricia Shaffer, Rosemary
Battaglia, John Shaffer and Carolyn Shaffer.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five sisters.

Mrs. Shaffer was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, who died in 1990 and
her son Charles who died in 1964.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 21, at the Nazareth
Chapel in San Rafael.

Internment is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at St. Joseph
Cemetery in Woodland.
