Barbara D. Bryant

Barbara D. Bryant, a third generation Californian and resident of Davis for 42
years died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at age 77.

Born in Hollywood, to William and Harriett Lord, Mrs. Bryant clopped with her
childhood sweetheart, Ray H. Bryant. Although her son Ron was a starting pitcher
for the San Francisco Giants for nine years, she was an avid Atlanta Braves
baseball fan. She was a member of Daughters of the Golden West, and a founding
supporter of the Woodland Opera House Renovation Project. She was a passionate
and dedicated volunteer at Yolo Hospice.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her sons, Ken Bryant and wife Vivian of Woodland, and
Ron Bryant of Westerly, Rhode Island; brother, Bill Lord and wife Mary of Indio;
grandchildren, Cami Platt of Orland, Todd Bryant of Nashville, Tenn., Eric
Aleto, Shannon Myers, Nicky, Kainon, Dustin, and Chaney Bryant from Southern
California; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ray H. Bryant; brothers,
Robert C. White Jr. and John White; and grandchildren, Kenneth F. Bryant Jr. and
Robert C. Bryant.

The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis,
95616.

Davis Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
