Dorothy G. Peek

Dorothy G. Peek died in Woodland Friday, March 22, 2002, at age 66.

Born Dec. 21,1935, in Plainview, Texas, Mrs. Peek was the daughter of the late
Guy Roy Absher and the late Thelma (Brown) Absher.

She married her husband 48 years ago. She was a member of the West Valley
Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cross-stitching and a variety of handcrafts.

Mrs. Peek is survived by her husband, R. Grady Peek of Dunnigan; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Phillip and Jean of Monticello, Minn., and Dennis and Dawn
Peek of Sacramento; granddaughter, Allison Clark of Sacramento; brother, Fred
Absher of Marysville, Wash.; sister, Janie Kee of Auburn, Wash.; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park followed by a memorial
service at 3 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the West Valley Baptist Church with Pastor
John J. Evertson.

The family requests memorials be directed to the West Valley Baptist Church
Building Fund in her memory.
