Amparo Barajas

Amparo Barajas died in her Woodland home on Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, at age 65.

Born Nov. 24, 1938, in Mexico, where she grew up and attended school. Mrs.
Barajas had been a Yolo County resident for the past 39 years, having raised her
family. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Arturo Barajas; daughters, Maria L. Barajas,
Carmen Barajas, and Rosalinda Barajas, all of Woodland, and Amparo Barajas of
Irapuato, Mexico; son, Arturo Barajas of Woodland; and 11 grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Vargas, in 1995.

Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Services of Woodland.

Services: A mass of Christian burial is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday,
at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Woodland. Interment will be at Cueramaro,
Guanajuato, Mexico.
