June Leona (Small) Vannucci

June Leona (Small) Vannucci died in her sleep at her Capay home on Tuesday, June
22, 2004, at age 83.

Born July 7, 1920, in Mountain View, Mrs. Vannucci was a resident of Esparto for
the past 80 years, residing in Yolo County since 1923.

Mrs. Vannucci graduated from Esparto High School with honors in 1938. She
married Fred E. Vannucci in December 1938, and was a rancher in the Capay Valley
for all of her adult life.

She was an avid gardener and loved going on road trips.

Survivors include her sons, Fred L. Vannucci and wife Mary, and Ronald P.
Vannucci and wife Margarette, both of Esparto; sister Raye Oroz and daughters of
Capay; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

At the request of Mrs. Vannucci, no services will be held.

The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice, Sutter Hospital
Cancer Unit or the Esparto Volunteer Fire Department in her name.

Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
