Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net June 28, 2004, 6:44 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Monday, January 26, 2004 Theodore Stroh Theodore Stroh died in Fergus Falls Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at age 90. Born April 2, 1913, in Venturia, N.D., Mr. Stroh was the son of the late John and Magdalena (Herrmann) Stroh. On June 29, 1939, he was married to Emma Engel in Venturia. He graduated from high school in Groton, S.D. and began farming in the McIntosh County area of North Dakota shortly thereafter. He then moved to Streeter, N.D, where he was employed by the International Harvester Company. In 1966, he moved to Davis, and was employed at the University of California, retiring in 1978. Later he moved to Woodland, and then in September 2001, he and his wife moved to Bismarck, N.D. He was a member of the Elks Club of Woodland. He was active in the churches he belonged to until his health began to fail. He served as president of the Davis Senior Citizens for two years, 1984 and 1985. Survivors include his son, Robert and wife Mary of Sacramento; daughter, Kathleen Ball and friend, Richard Tamke Jr of Battle Lake, Minn.; and grandson, Christopher Stroh of Red Wing, Minn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma (Engel) Stroh, in March of 2003; seven sisters and five brothers. The family requests memorials be directed to Davis Senior Center, 646 A Street, Davis, 95616, for the building expansion project of the Center; or to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, Minn. Services: Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, N.D.
