Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net June 28, 2004, 7:38 pm Woodland "Daily Democrat," Tuesday, January 20, 2004 Salvador Gomez Robles (1st of 2 obituaries) Our adventurous and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, godfather and friend was born in La Pinuela, Union de Tula, Jalisco, Mexico, Nov. 11, 1920. He received his angel wings here in Sacramento, Sunday morning, Jan. 18, 2004 at the age of 83. Son of Fernanda and Guadalupe Robles. Brother of Dolores Arrellano, Rosario Duran, Francisco Robles, Jesus Robles and Maria Miller. He was married to and shared a family life of 54 years with Josephine Robles. He was the father of Salvador Robles Jr., and Trudy Robles. He was the grandfather of Salvador Robles III, Francisco Salvador Robles, Luis Antonio Robles Flores and Sofia Robles Castillo. He was the great-grandfather of Baby Cisco, Vanessa, Alina, Nica and Marsina. Uncle, godfather and friend of many wonderful nieces, nephews, neighbors, fishermen, hunters, nature lovers and people he met during his journey on this earth. Man's best friend to Baby and Blue. Sal was an extraordinary outdoorsman loving to fish, hunt, travel, garden and be with his family. He was an infamous storyteller too. His passing was graced with love and a peaceful blessing. We thank all of his family and friends for the love, support and prayers you have shared with us over all of these wonderful years. Family and friends are welcome to attend the vigil service Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 at 7 p.m. in the North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave., Sacramento, and the graveside service on Friday, Jan. 23, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Monument Hill Memorial Park, County Road 22, Woodland.
