Born July 10, 1914, in El Segundo, Mrs. Huston moved to Sacramento in 1928. She was a Sacramento High School graduate. She retired from the sate Franchise Tax Board after 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sacramento, a life member of Mezaleh Temple No. 16, Daughters of the Nile, Tuesday Club, Order of the Eastern Star and the Allied Arts. Survivors include her children, Robert Huston and wife Alma of Alabama, Ed Huston and wife Mary Kay of Woodland, and Reg Huston and wife Velvali of Salinas; grandchildren, Ryan and wife Krissie, Justin, Megan, Katie, Ross, Jesse and Max Huston; and great-grandson, Riley Huston. The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento. Arrangements are under the direction of Naumann Bros. of Sacramento. Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at First United Methodist Church, 21st and J streets.
