Bette Irene Rademaker

Bette Irene Rademaker died at Woodland Memorial Hospital Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004,
at age 80.

Born March 16, 1923, in Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Rademaker had been a Yolo County
resident for 58 years. She grew up in North Dakota, where she graduated from
high school. Upon receiving her registered nurse degree from Trinity Nursing
School, she enlisted in the U.S. Army Nursing Corp., where she served for two
years, before moving to Woodland and working at Yolo General Hospital. Her
career as a registered nurse spanned 40 years.

Survivors include her children, Michael Rademaker of Sacramento, Tuni Berg and
husband Ron, David Rademaker and wife Billie, Audrey Horgan and husband Ken, and
Jody Rademaker, all of Woodland; grandchildren, Michael Rademaker of Sacramento,
Tina Peiffer and husband Tim of Davis, Tracy Lloyd and husband Jason and Justin
Rademaker, all of Woodland, and Logan Legg Rademaker of Vacaville; and
great-grandchildren, Garrett and Madison Lloyd, also of Woodland and Brennan and
Tanner Peiffer, also of Davis. Also surviving are her sisters, Marilyn Ferguson
of West Sacramento, and Ann Gallup of North Dakota; and brother, S. Henry Betts
of Elk Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Rademaker.

The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospital; or to the
charity of choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nautilus Society.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Rademaker, no services are scheduled.
