Waldo Diaz Galindo

Waldo Diaz Galindo died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at age 73.

Born May 15, 1931, in Sandias, Durango, Mexico, Mr. Galindo had been a Yolo
County resident for 55 years.

Survivors include his children, Wence and Susan Galindo of Modesto, Nancy
Galindo of Sacramento, Angie and Mark Cobey of Woodland, Waldo Jr. and Donna
Galindo of Rocklin, Elva Galindo of Woodland, Anabel and Dave Kinser of
Woodland, and Adrian Galindo of Woodland; 10 grandchildren; and one
great-granddaughter; five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Socorro Galindo on December 2003.

The family requests memorials be directed to charity of donor's choice; Yolo
Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95616-1014; and American Cancer Society, 1765
Challenge Way, Sacramento, 95815.

Services: There will be a vigil scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Holy
Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland. A funeral mass is scheduled at
11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, also at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with a burial to
follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Woodland.
